Cherry Crumble Pie

Ingredients cherry crumble pie

Butter                            ½ Cup + 4 Tbsp     

Cream cheese              1/3 Cup        

Refined flour                1 ¼ Cups + ¼ Cup            

Salt                                 A Pinch                  

Sugar                              1/3 Cup + ½ Cup                 

Packaged porridge       ¾ Cup                          

Cherries                          3 Cup                       

Lemon juice                    2 Tbsp                            

Cornflour                         2 ½ Cups                

Orange rinds                   To Taste

Method cherry crumble pie recipe

Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup butter in a b0wl with an electric beater. Add salt and 1/4 cup refined flour beat some m0re and then knead it into a d0ugh. Grease a pie dish with butter. Spread the dough evenly with your hands in the pie dish. Place butter paper over the layer and put raw rice on top so that the dough d0es not rise when baking. Bake the pie in a pre-heated 0ven at 200°C f0r 15 minutes; rem0ve rice. 

Put p0ridge, 1/4 cup refined flour, 1/3 cup sugar and butter in a bowl. Mix with hands. If you feel that the mix is soft, add 2 tbsp refined flour. KEEp it in the refrgert0r for 10 mnutes. Put cheries cornflour, ½ cup sugar lemon juice and orange rinds in a separate bowl. Mix well when the pie base cools down; place a layer of cherries mix followed by a layer of crumble mix Bake the pie at 2oo°C for 15 minutes  Take it out when the crumble turns golden.
