Hot Saltish Potatoes


Potatoes (boiled)                        1/2 kg

Salt                                               to taste

Crushed red chillies                  1 tbsp   

Green chillies (chopped)           2            

Coriander leaves (chopped)       3 tbsp                     

Crushed cumin seeds               1 tbsp                 

Gram flour                                  5 tbsp       

Egg                                                1          

Oil                                                  for frying  


Tamarind chutney ingredients

Tamarind pulp                         1 cup                   

Salt                                           as required                   

Sugar                                       2 tbsp                                 

Red chilli powder                 1/2 tsp  

Method Hot Saltish Potatoes Recipes

Add all ingredients in tamarind pulp to make chutney. Mash potatoes in a bowl. Add salt, red chilies, gren chilies, c0rander leaves and cumin seeds. Take some potato in your palm and shape into small bowl, put 1 tsp tamarind chutney in the middle and make a ball with it. Repeat this process with the remaining potatoes. 

Mix egg and salt in gram flour to make a thick paste. Heat oil in a wok dip potato balls in gram flour paste and fry in the w0k. Take them out on paper t0wels when they turn g0lden. Serve h0t with chutney.
